Introducing
Collections

Brightbound’s collections are unified by a shared respect for material, process, and form— yet each explores these values through a distinct lens. From studio-blown glass and heritage craft to architectural presence and quiet domesticity, our work moves fluidly between past and present, structure and softness.

Together, Heritage, Foundry, and Haven offer three expressions of light, shaped by hand and designed to endure.

Heritage

The Heritage Collection tells the story of where Brightbound began. It reflects the product direction that Julie, Nicole, Will and Damon first set for themselves– precise in development, rigorous in execution, and bold in material presence.

From the outset, their ambition was to create lighting defined by disciplined craftsmanship and intentional design. Every piece began with a question: how could lighting bring together thoughtful materials, refined form, and dependable performance in a way that felt both enduring and expressive? This collection carries the answer: the spirit of Brightbound’s early explorations.

Forms are purposeful and confident, materials are allowed to speak for themselves, and every detail is considered with the same rigor that guided the first designs.

Foundry

Architectural in spirit and engineered with intention, the Foundry Collection is where refinement meets impact. Urban-inspired and meticulously honed, each form balances sophistication with strength, expressing a clear dialogue between structure, material, and light.

This collection reflects a design approach grounded in precision and restraint. Every line, junction, and proportion is carefully considered, allowing the materials and geometry to speak with clarity. Metal is shaped, forged, and refined to create forms that feel both deliberate and enduring, while light is directed in ways that emphasize architecture and spatial rhythm.

Foundry draws inspiration from the built environment: the strength of structural elements, the rhythm of urban grids, and the quiet confidence of well-engineered design. The result is lighting that feels grounded and purposeful, capable of anchoring a room or defining an architectural moment. These pieces are not ornamental; they are structural companions to the spaces they inhabit.

Haven

Where other collections emphasize structure or precision, Haven explores softness and tactility. Materials are chosen for their warmth and presence; fibers that hold tension, knots that create rhythm, and forms that feel organic and relaxed. The result is lighting that brings a sense of ease to a space, inviting slower moments and a deeper connection to the environment around it.

At the heart of the collection is a collaborative exploration of knot language with artist Windy Chien, whose work has reimagined traditional knotting through contemporary form and scale. Together, we developed a visual language where knots become both structure and ornament, sculptural gestures that hold light while expressing movement, tension, and craft. Each knot carries intention, reflecting both centuries-old techniques and a modern interpretation of fiber as architectural material.

The Haven Collection embraces the natural irregularities and textures that make handmade work so compelling. Light interacts with rope and fiber in ways that feel alive- catching edges, softening shadows, and creating subtle variations that shift throughout the day.
